Machined parts
Techné develops a complete range of machined seals for numerous applications. At its machining workshop in Morancé, Techné manufactures custom high-quality parts in elastomers, thermoplastic elastomers, and thermoplastics.
The choice of machining offers short manufacturing time and improved delivery lead time for many profiles.
Techné machines all types of profiles such as scrapers, rod seals, piston seals, as well as R0 profiles (O-rings), JT4 profiles (X-rings), and ST8 profiles (washers). A comprehensive list of available profiles can be found below.

Materials
Techné's material stock offers short lead times for all elastomers, thermoplastics, and thermoplastic elastomers. Upon request, Techné provides materials compliant with FDA, CE 1935/2004, CE 10/2011, or USP VI. Techné's engineering team is available to assist customers in choosing the most suitable material for their application.

Finishing
The machined parts from Techné are deburred either manually or using a vibratory finishing equipment. The latter helps to remove sharp edges, eliminate residual chips, or modify surface roughness.
A laser engraving machine is used to engrave the previously machined parts according to the customers' needs: logos, serial numbers, or manufacturing dates, for example.
Inspection
Techné's machining workshop operates with self-inspection thanks to control equipment directly integrated into the workshop:
- 3D optical metrology
- Automated profile projector
Techné also offers 100% inspection of parts through automated optical sorting machines for specific profiles and diameters.
Coatings
At its Morancé workshop, Techné offers coatings to enhance sliding or friction characteristics, extend seal lifespan, or facilitate installation.
Techné's engineering team provides technical assistance in determining the appropriate coating for each application.
Packaging
Machined parts are packaged specifically to protect them during transportation. Upon request, Techné provides washing and cleanroom ISO 7 packaging for machined parts.
Techné's sales team is available to handle any specific packaging requests from customers.
