NBR (nitrile rubber)

NBR (nitrile rubber) is the most commonly used elastomer material.

Due to its good mechanical properties, oil resistance, chemical resistance and competitive price, it is used for a wide range of applications.

Besides a large variety of standard NBR material compounds, Techné also offers special NBR material compounds on request:

Abrasion-resistant NBR
Ozone resistant NBR
Low temperature resistant NBR (up to -40 °C, in some cases up to -55 °C)

Fields of application and products

NBR is used to manufacture various sealing parts such as O-rings, V-rings, rotary shaft seals, piston seals and rod seals.

NBR can be used for various applications such as hydraulic, gas systems and/or water treatment.
